Once diced add the onion into a frying pan with the melted butter and then cook the onions until soft.<\/p>\n<p>Then add the cream and the slightly crushed saffron strands. Stirring for approximately 5 minutes until the cream is reduced and the smell and colour of the saffron is noticeable.
