If you wish to taste this explosion of flavours, grab a pen and paper and let&#8217;s start cracking on the recipe!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sponge cake ingredients:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>200 g pastry flour.<\/li>\n<li>100 g butter cocoa<\/li>\n<li>5 eggs<\/li>\n<li>300 g milk<\/li>\n<li>100 g butter<\/li>\n<li>1 sachet of baking powder<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/antoniosotos.com\/en\/product-showcase\/saffron-en\/\" target=\"_blank\">Saffron<\/a> strands<\/li>\n<li>160 g sugar<\/li>\n<li>Grated lemon peel<\/li>\n<li>30 g hazelnuts<\/li>\n<li>60 g almonds<\/li>\n<li>80 g pure chocolate broken into\u00a0 small pieces<\/li>\n<li>Salt<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Mint cream ingredients:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>600 g milk<\/li>\n<li>2 eggs<\/li>\n<li>30 g starch<\/li>\n<li>130 g sugar<\/li>\n<li>30 g mint leaves<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sponge cake method:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We shall first focus on the sponge cake, as it is a more elaborated process and is more time consuming.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Add sugar to butter and beat.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Separate the egg whites and yolks, and to the above mixture, whilst still beating it, add the yolks.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The egg whites are beaten into stiff peaks and add a pinch of salt.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The nuts, that is, the almonds and hazelnuts, are grinded into a\u00a0 powder to be added later to the flour, baking yeast and the grated lemon peel.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>To extract the flavour of the saffron, dissolve the strands in hot milk, whilst the flour mixture is added to the eggs and butter.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>After a little while, mix the milk and the saffron with the egg whites beaten into stiff peaks, caution!\u00a0 &#8211; this mixture should be whisked gently so as not to separate the egg whites. Once mixed, add the delicious chocolate morsels.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Place all the batter into a mold, and grease all sides so that it does not stick, and finally place into the oven and wait 40 minutes.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Mint cream Method:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Once the batter is in the oven now is the right time to start on the mint cream.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Mix the eggs with sugar and starch. At the same time add the mint leaves to the milk and boil the entire mixture.
